Taxi drivers smear non-paying passengers with green dye

KHABAROVSK, RUSSIA — Two Russian taxi drivers have been fired after they forced two women to smear a green antiseptic dye on their faces as punishment for not paying their fare.

Video of the incident has gone viral in Russia after it was filmed in the far eastern city of Khabarovsk.

The dye, known as "zelyonka" is difficult to remove but not usually harmful, according to BBC News.
