The consensus pound for pound great reportedly popped for a steroid taken from a sample just after the weigh ins at UFC 214 – where he won back his belt by head kicking Daniel Cormier into unconsciousness.
Now, staring at another suspension – this one for a potential 4 years – we’re left to wonder if the undefeated fighter just defeated himself. For good.
Even UFC president Dana White suggested that it might be the end of Jon’s career… especially when you consider that he’s already 30 years old, and another comeback at 34 would be almost impossible.
Not to mention, he might have just blew his chance a the big money fight with Brock Lesnar… who he called out after beating Daniel.
Jon’s team is currently getting his B sample tested in hopes that this is just an anomaly and not in indication of steroid use.
