Driver Killed as Bridge Collapse Traps Vehicle Near Tel Aviv

A pedestrian bridge collapsed near the Givat Shmuel and Bnei Brak neighborhoods, east of Tel Aviv, Israel, on the night of August 14, killing a truck driver.Highway Four was closed at the scene in both directions.The collapse was caused by the truck’s crane, which was raised too high, slamming into the bridge as the truck attempted to drive through, local media reported.
