South African Parliament Erupts in Song and Chants Ahead of No Confidence Vote

Politicians chanted and sang in the South African parliament on August 8 ahead of a vote of no confidence against President Jacob Zuma.Members of the ruling ANC party sang in support of the president before members of the socialist Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), wearing red overalls, entered the chamber singing, which prompted shouts and jeers from the other side of the house.This video shows the EFF’s song, lead by the party leader, Julius Malema.Earlier, opponents of Zuma marched to the parliament building in advance of the vote.
