Fire panel chair denies conflict of interest in safety tests

The former fire chief appointed to lead an independent review into building safety measures following the Grenfell Tower disaster has told ITV News he expects the results of safety tests on building cladding to be made public as soon as possible. Former London Fire Brigade Commissioner Sir Ken Knight has also denied there is any conflict of interest between the Building Research Establishment and the construction companies that have been invited to be part of the review.
