A Maine lobster boat crew rescued a drenched, one-eyed eagle they spotted swimming near their boat in the Atlantic Ocean on July 27, according to this report.Maine resident and fisherman John Chipman Jr shared several photos and videos of the eagle. In one, it thrusts its wings through the water, propelling itself forward in an apparent breaststroke. Others show it post-rescue, dripping water while sitting on the edge of the boat. A final video shows it taking off and flying away.Chipman Jr and the other fishermen fashioned a raft from a life preserver, plywood and rope to save haul the eagle aboard.
