China's adorable panda-shaped solar power station opens to the public

A cool video has emerged from China of the panda-shaped solar power station.

The aerial footage, filmed in Datong, Shanxi Province on July 24, shows the solar panels placed to form the shapes of giant pandas.

It was not only designed for generating energy, but also to spark the further generations' interest and passion about sustainable energy.

The activity centre for youths in the plant could help primary school and middle school students learn the advantages of solar power.

According to local reports, a hundred more panda-shaped solar plants are planed to be built in the upcoming years.
