When Andrew heard scratching coming from his chimney on July 13, he thought there was a baby seagull trapped inside in need of rescue.He explained that he had a seagull nest on his chimney stack and presumed a chick had fallen down the chimney. He said, “my neighbour Tom came and helped as I opened the fireplace for the first time in decades to rescue the poor little defenceless gull chick.”When he eventually gets the chimney opened up, the “cute baby gull” he expected is not what pops out.
