Elizabeth Moss Doesn't Care About Anyone Who Opposes Women's Rights
  • 7 years ago
Elizabeth Moss is making it very clear that her mission in life isn’t just about acting; it’s about activism. Specifically when it comes to women’s rights.

She tells The Hollywood Reporter, “I’m such a staunch believer in women’s rights, I don’t really give a shit about anybody who isn’t.”

Moss has starred in roles that definitely touch on the subject and the controversies involved, including Mad Men and The Handmaid’s Tale… She’s very particular about the control she has over her scenes, especially when they deal with nudity.

She reportedly says, “Have I experienced sexism like Peggy did in the 1960s? Of course not… But have there been times when I haven’t made as much as a man? I’m sure. And it’s a factual thing, not a matter of opinion. That’s sexist.”

If you can’t work with Moss’ rules, then Moss won’t grow on you.
