Lyft reaches company milestone by completing 1M rides a day

Lyft just announced that its drivers have helped the company reached one million rides per day. The rideshare company also said it has seen ride growth for the last 48 consecutive months. Uber, Lyft's biggest competitor, is not new to rideshare success, already having hit 5.5 million daily rides back in July 2016. But Lyft co-founder John Zimmer remains optimistic and told Techcrunch: “Every day, more drivers and passengers are choosing Lyft because we have focused from Day 1 on embedding hospitality and service in everything we do. As we’ve reached service level parity, the Lyft experience has become a key differentiator.”
