The Trump administration set new critera for visa applicants from six Muslim-majority countries. Now, travelers and refugees must have a close family member or a business tie to the U.S. in order to enter the country. The decision comes after the Supreme Court reinstated part of President Trump's executive order. Grandparents, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and fiances are not considered "close" relationships. Journalists, students, or workers who possess employment contracts in the U.S. are expempt from the ban.
