Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo Visits Displaced Marawi Residents on Eid al-Fitr

As Muslims around the world celebrated Eid al-Fitr on June 25, Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo visited displaced Marawi residents in Iligan City, a mere 25 miles north of the southern city recently over-run by Islamic State-aligned militants.The fighting, which began in May 2017, has already killed over 350 soldiers and civilians in Marawi City.
