In response to this, the Opposition also made the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar the Presidential candidate.


राष्ट्रपति चुनाव को लेकर राजनीतिक गलियारों में खबरें तेज हो गई है फिलहाल राष्ट्रपति चुनाव को लेकर इसे दलितों की राजनीति भी कहना गलत नहीं होगा। एक तरफ जहां बीजेपी ने अपने दलित उम्मीदवार के रूप में रामनाथ कोविंद का नाम सामने रखा वहीं दूसरी तरफ विपक्ष ने भी दलितों की राजनीति करते हुए पूर्व लोकसभा स्पीकर मीरा कुमार के नाम का ऐलान कर दिया है। भारतीय राजनीति में दलित कार्ड कितना कारगर है ये तो होने वाले राष्ट्रपति चुनावों में भी देखने को मिल रहा है. एनडीए ने रामनाथ कोविंद को राष्ट्रपति पद का उम्मीदवार बनाया क्योंकि वो बीजेपी का सबसे बड़ा दलित चेहरा है. इसके जवाब में विपक्ष ने भी नहले पर दहला मारते हुए अपनी तरफ से पूर्व लोकसभा स्पीकर मीरा कुमार को राष्ट्रपति पद का उम्मीदवार बना दिया
