Top U.S. diplomat David Rank in China has resigned following President Trump's decision to pull out of the Paris Climate Accord. Rank announced his resignation Monday during his meeting with town hall employees, citing the global climate agreement. Trump announced the withdrawal of the U.S. from the climate treaty Thursday, which was negotiated in 2015. Trump said the treaty poses an economic disadvantage toward the U.S., and a fair deal needs to be enacted instead.
