According the The Independent, Syria has signed the Paris Climate Agreement, which is currently comprised of 200 other countries… except the United States. President Donald Trump promised to pull the U.S. out of the deal, which aims to get countries to limit greenhouse-gas emissions and prevent catastrophic climate change. Nicaragua also refused to sign because it felt as though the deal did not plan effectively enough to reduce emissions, according to The Daily Beast.
