Horse Racing Festival Held in Aleppo Countryside Under Theme 'Equestrian Brings Us Together'

A festival of Arabian horses was held on May 12, in the desert south of Aleppo. Multiple media activist groups were present at the event, which was the first of its kind in Syria since the beginning of the civil war.The theme of the festival was “horse riding brings us together”, with participants attending from Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.A trophy won by one of the participants bore the logo of the Turkish NGO IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation.
