She’s seen in this May 6 video wrapped in a make-shift pouch, playfully reaching out to her carer’s fingers as she’s lathered in oil. Lisa is just 3.5 months old.Baby oil and moisturisers are often applied to the skin of joeys and young kangaroos who aren’t benefiting from the natural oils found inside their mother’s pouches. The open air can dry out and crack their sensitive skin and become prone to infections.
