Study shows lifespan differs by 20 years between US counties

A new study shows that where you live may determine just how long you live, and apparently, that number can vary up to 20 years. In counties with the longest life expectancy, people live to 87 years old, while the areas with the lowest lifespan people live until about 67. The study says the explanation for this is related to socioeconomic status. People who live in counties with higher incomes tend to live longer, whereas poor communities show an inverse effect.
