Former President Barack Obama defended the Affordable Care Act while accepting the "Profile in Courage" award at John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston. Obama used his acceptance speech to highlight Democrats who voted for ACA and in result lost their seats in Congress. "These men and women did the right thing, the hard thing, and theirs was a profile in courage, and because of that vote, 20 million people got health insurance that didn't have it before," Obama's speech came only days after House Republicans passed a plan that will repeal and replace the ACA.
