Greenpeace activists in Paris hung a banner from the Eiffel Tower on May 5, reminding voters of France’s national motto, “Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité,” two days ahead of the country’s presidential election.Speaking to BFMTV, the CEO of Greenpeace France, Jean-François Julliard, said that the flag was intended to spark resistance against Marine Le Pen and the National Front.
