Rahul Gandhi says govt ignoring farmers amid ‘Make in India’ push

Rahul Gandhi questioned why the Bharatiya Janata Party -led government was busy in the “Make in India” initiative instead of focusing on farmers. The agriculture minister of Haryana, OP Dhankar, who has been accused of displaying insensitivity towards farmers who commit suicide made an attempts at damage control today. Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital kicked up a row after it marked people injured in the quake with 'bhukamp' stickers on their forehead. The Delhi government on Tuesday gave approval for the setting up of a farmer compensation scheme to be named after Gajender Singh.
