Arundhati Roy returns her National Award in protest of 'intolerance'

Renowned South Asian writer Arundhati Roy returned on Thursday her National Award for Best Screenplay, which she won in 1989.Pointing out that she had returned her Sahitya Akademi Award in 2005 when the Congress was in power, Roy said, “It has gone way beyond all that.”
