Barrage of Air Raids Continue in Opposition-Held Northern Hama Province

The Assad regime’s aerial bombardment campaign in the northern Hama provincial town of Lataminah continued on Thursday, April 27. Activists reported several strikes using various munitions and targeting multiple areas, including the town hospital.The Lataminah Hospital in particular was partially damaged in March 2017 airstrikes, and has been temporarily shut by local medical volunteers due to the renewed airstrikes.The town has been frequently targeted by a wide range of munitions this month, including parachute bombs, on a near-daily basis. Activists alleged in March that chlorine gas may have been used in the strikes. Storyful could not independently confirm the use of chlorine in Lataminah.
