AIADMK functionary's home raided, Rs 4.7 cr seized

On 25th April, a raid was conducted by election observers at the Egmore residence of an AIADMK functionary. Rs.4.72 crore in cash was seized. As per media reports, the house belonged to Vijay Krishnan, an MGR Mandram office bearer affiliated to the AIADMK. TG Vinay, deputy commissioner of the Chennai Corporation said that on Vijay opening the door, they found cash packed in bundles in two boxes.
