Two Dozen People Stuck on Six Flags America Roller Coaster

Firefighters worked to rescue 24 people who were stranded when a roller coaster became stuck at Six Flags America in Maryland on Thursday, April 13. Fire department officials said the riders were upright and no one appeared to be in distress.The looping roller coaster reaches speeds of 60 miles per hour and was introduced in 1999, according to the park’s website.
