In a recent poll conducted by CBS News, "more than half of Americans" indicated they are “uneasy” about President Trump’s ability to handle the escalating North Korean situation.

The situation in North Korea continues to escalate, with the country said to be on the verge of performing it’s sixth and perhaps "most powerful" nuclear test to date, reports the Huffington Post.
In a recent poll conducted by CBS News, "more than half of Americans" indicated they are “uneasy” about President Trump’s ability to deal with the matter.
Overall, 56% of respondents expressed reservations about the president’s capabilities in that area. 39% conveyed confidence that Trump efforts will ultimately be successful.
Republicans were the biggest believers in the president’s aptitude, with 78% expressing faith in the leader’s crisis-averting skills.
Both Democrats and Independents were less sure that everything is going to work out just fine. 85% and 57%, respectively, indicated apprehension in regards to the president’s diplomatic prowess.
Regardless of public opinion, President Trump has made it known this is a face-off he fully intends to win.
On Tuesday and not long after his meeting with China’s President Xi Jinping, Trump tweeted, “North Korea is looking for trouble. If China decides to help, that would be great. If not, we will solve the problem without them! U.S.A.,” and, “I explained to the President of China that a trade deal with the U.S. will be far better for them if they solve the North Korean problem!”
The following day, he discussed action against North Korea on Fox Business, saying, “We are sending an armada, very powerful. We have submarines, very powerful, far more powerful than the aircraft carrier. We have the best military people on Earth.”
