Pune drubs Mumbai with 7 wickets in last over thriller. Captain Steve Smith led from the front with a superb 84 not out as Pune edged Mumbai by 7 wickets in the 2nd match of the Indian Premier League 2017 in Rajkot. Chasing 185, Pune won with 1 ball to spare in the innings. Smith, on IPL captaincy debut, smashed 2 consecutive sixes off Pollard to seal the game. Captain Steve Smith, dished out an unbelievable unbeaten knock of 84 under pressure in a tense last-over finish. Pune needed 13 runs from the final over and Smith hit a six off the 4th ball needing another four for a win from two balls. He did not wait for the final delivery and smashed the 5th ball of the final over to the stands to the huge roar of home crowd to reach 187 for 3 in 19.5 overs.
