The English all-rounder Ben Stokes, the highest paid IPL player, scored his maiden century in IPL 10, to guide his team to victory from a pressure situation. Stokes remained unbeaten on 103 off 63 balls. GL batted first and managed to score 161 runs Brendon McCullum scored quickfire 45. Imran Tahir and Jaydev Unadkat took 3 wickets each. In reply, RPS lost their first 3 wickets with 1.3 overs But Stokes and Dhoni's partnership gave them stability. Stokes remained at the crease until the very end.
