Josh Duhamel Teaches His Son to Be Outdoorsy
  • 7 years ago
Josh Duhamel might make his living in Hollywood, but he doesn't want his son Axl to be raised as a city kid.

In fact, People magazine reports that he's teamed up with Claritin to promote their "Be An Outsider" campaign, and he's doing his part to make sure his kid is familiar with nature.

Duhamel tells People, "wherever I'm living, whether I'm home or on the road, I need to be someplace that has easy access to the outdoors."

Along with returning to Duhamel's native North Dakota at least twice a year, there's enough nature in California too. Duhamel says "we have this great spot behind our house with all these trails, so he'll go exploring and gathering things. Whether it's flowers or rocks, he really has a fascination with sticks. He's just like me."

Goes to show you, just because Duhamel and wife Fergie are in the entertainment industry, they still reinforce the importance of getting in touch with the great outdoors.
