Kanye West Will Not Be Part of 'American Idol' Reboot

There's no rhyme or reason that rapper Kanye West may help reboot American Idol for a new generation, even if that’s the word on the street.
According to TMZ, it's rumored that Kanye was approached to be the host of an American Idol resurrection on NBC... But you won't see Kanye walking in Ryan Seacrest’s footsteps.
TMZ reports, "There is no conversation with Kanye West to join American Idol or any other show for that matter."
Although we could see Kanye grabbing a mic and introducing hopeful artists, we believe he has a lot of other priorities to focus on instead.
If we see Kanye hosting or on a judges panel, we'll probably sooner see him on America's Top Model than anywhere else.
