Emergency Services Carry Away Injured After Westminster 'Terrorist Attack'

Emergency services attended what was being described as a “terrorist incident” in the Westminster area on Tuesday, March 22.One woman was confirmed dead and an unconfirmed number of people were injured when a vehicle drove into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge. A police officer was also left in critical condition after being stabbed near the Houses of Parliament.The parliament building was subsequently placed on lockdown, during which time MPs shared photos and video from inside the complex.Video shared to social media shows people being carried away by paramedics on the southern end of the Bridge.A full statement from the Metropolitan Police is available here.
