Tyra Banks is taking over "America's Got Talent" as the new host for the new season. Howie Mandel, a judge on the show, broke the news on Twitter. The former model and TV personality is replacing Nick Cannon, who is not returning to the show after NBC threatened to fire him. Cannon said the threats from the network came after he made a racial joke during his comedy special "Stand Up, Don't Shoot" on Showtime. "I love how AGT brings that feeling into everyone’s home, capturing the best of people who come out and give it their all to make those big, fierce and outrageous dreams come true," Banks said about joining the show.
