Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan avoided question on the ongoing row surrounding the student of Lady Shri Ram LSR College Gurmehar Kaur. He said that he would prefer to keep his opinion to himself than sharing it on a public platform. Speaking to media during the trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Sarkar 3’, Big B said, “What I feel about this is my personal view, if I tell it to you it will become public.” Host of celebrities including Vidya Balan, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Swara Bhaskar and Tigmanshu Dhulia came out in the support of Gurmehar. Gurmehar, the daughter of Kargil martyr Captain Mandeep Singh, sparked a controversy for her social media campaign against the ABVP following which she also allegedly received rape threats.
