India have won the toss and have elected to bat first against Australia at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium of Bangalure in the 2 Test match of the 4 Test match rubber. Australia play the unchanged XI from Pune and India have two changes with Karun Nair coming to the side in place of Jayant Yadav. M Vijay had a shoulder injury in Pune so Abhinav Mukund is in as the opener. Indian Skipper Virat Kohli after the toss said, the toss has not been that bad, but it is the cricket that was bad in Pune. It looks like a typical Bangalore wicket. The bowlers have to hit the right line and length, said Kohli. Australia captain Steve Smith sais, we know India is a good side and they will make a comeback...We had a good team performance in Pune and would like to repeat that here again.
