Next time you tell your kids to use hand sanitizer, A new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that over a three-year period, 70,669 kids in the US aged 12 or under fell ill as a direct result of hand sanitizer. The majority of cases were due to kids drinking it, most likely because of the added fruity scent that appeals to children. Those drinking hand sanitizer have reported irritated eyes, vomiting, pink eye, cough and abdominal pain.
