Strong waves slammed the coast of the Azores island of Pico during a storm on Monday, February 27. The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere was quoted as saying the waves reached heights of 13 meters.This video shows waves flooding the harbor of Madalena, and causing damage to cars and boats.
