Major hotel fire kills ten in southern China

A dramatic video has emerged of a deadly blaze at a hotel in China.

The footage, captured in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province on Saturday, shows thick smoke coming out of the high-rise hotel.

According to local reports, 15 fire engines, a smoke ejector truck, a firefighting robot and hundreds of firefighters were sent to tackle the blaze.

Ten people were reportedly killed and 24 people were controlled by police as inadequate decorative works are suspected to be at the origin of the fire.
