After the deadline to leave the area expired, about 75 people remained at the site taunting authorities. Police made arrests after nearly 20 fires were set by protesters in a departure ceremony, leaving two people injured, AP reported. Activists and protesters remained on the federal campsite grounds for six months in an attempt to block construction of the pipeline.
