Joe Duplantier says they're "more friends" with their music today, having more fun and being more challenged playing with the subtle dynamics, which he insists are even more technically challenging — even if it doesn't seem like it. Gojira really keep it in the family (and not just literally with Joe and his brother Mario), so they tend to not collaborate.
