Wife of Pulse nightclub shooter pleads not guilty

The wife of Pulse nightclub mass murderer Omar Mateen pleaded not guilty to charges that she aided her husband and obstruction of justice. Noor Salman was arrested by the FBI in her home on Monday, and has a hearing scheduled for Feb. 1. If convicted, the 30-year-old can face life in prison. Salman's lawyer Linda Moreno stated Salman was a victim of domestic abuse, and had no knowledge of the impending attack. An indictment indicates Salman helped Mateen's efforts on behalf of the Islamic State.
