Hypocrites are filthy when there is no one to see

ADNAN OKTAR: Regarding the idolaters, God says in the Quran, "...the idolaters are unclean..." (Surah at-Tawba, 28). Hypocrites are filthy at the places where no one sees them. But when they are among other people, they present themselves to Muslims as pure and clean. When alone, they display a truly evil and vile characteristic. When they are alone, hypocrites never perform prayers or ablution. But if they are among the public and have to perform prayers, they do so without performing ablution. Of course, they perform their prayers as quickly as possible and get away from there. As God points to their laziness in the verse of the Quran, "...When they get up to pray, they get up lazily..." (Surah an-Nisa, 142). In other words, hypocrites loathe prayer and having to perform it. For that reason, the thing that makes them happy the most is never having to perform prayer when they leave the Muslims. In their own way, they find great comfort in there; but they also find an evil torment. The torment they suffer is an immense one.
