Mariah Carey suffers lip sync blunder during New Year's performance

Mariah Carey was noticeably irritated on stage after her performance during "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" went haywire. The singer's vocal track malfunctioned as Carey was lip syncing on stage. “I’m trying to be a good sport here,” Carey said during the performance on stage. The following performance of "We Belong Together" ended with Carey pacing through the song and refusing to continue lip syncing. The singer later jokingly tweeted about the incident.
