NYC's famed Carnegie Deli says goodbye after 79 years

After 79 years of serving up heaps of cured meat to tourists, theater patrons and workaday New Yorkers, the Carnegie Delicatessen will slice its last ridiculously oversized sandwich on Friday Dozens of pastrami lovers lined up early Friday morning for their last shot at getting a meal at the famous deli. Owner Marian Harper said she was closing Carnegie Deli in order to take personal time.
