Flash flooding struck Melbourne after high temperatures affected the state on Thursday, December 29, causing havoc for surprised residents. Litter and debris could be seen drifting along floodwaters while motorists struggled to navigate the deluge.Speaking with State Emergency Services, the ABC reported some areas would receive up to 100 millimetres of rain.
