Dibakar Banerjee: 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is my most expensive film'

Dibakar Banerjee is presently busy with his upcoming directorial venture Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, which stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role, and the filmmaker claims that the spy thriller is his most expensive film till date. During a media interaction, he said, "This is my most expensive film but still its budget is not more than what generally is spent on these kinds of big Bollywood films, which have many special effects. I am very disciplined and planned and therefore the cost gets reduced." Based on writer Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay's fictional character, Byomkesh Bakshi, the much-anticipated film is being co-produced by Yash Raj Films and Banerjee and is slated to release on February 13.
