'Barry' star David Terrell says he's 'lived a very similar life' to Obama

Netflix's original film "Barry," directed by Vikram Ghandi, premieres Friday Dec. 16 and its garnered a lot of attention. The film has been well-received, picking up critical acclaim following its debut at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. Devon Terrell, who plays Obama, touched on exactly what made the role a good fit for him. Terrell told Forbes Ghandi himself actually lived in the building next to the one where Obama stayed when he went to Columbia University. "Barry," which also stars Ashley Judd, should do well among the 86 million Netflix subscribers, who rate biographical documentaries 3.61 out of 5.
