Trump slated to pick Gary Cohn for key economic post

Donald Trump is expected to name longtime second-in-command at Goldman Sachs, Gary D. Cohn, director of his National Economic Council. The council oversees economic policy in the White House. Cohn developed a no-nonsense demeanor while he rose through the ranks of Goldman. Trump has begun stockpiling his cabinet with ex-Goldman employees like Steve Mnunchin and Stephen Bannon. The decision comes after Cohn visited with Trump three times.
