When an Arizona family took a trip to California for the Fourth of July their Mastiff, Tinkerbell ran off at the sound of fireworks. After looking for her, they thought they had lost her forever until Hope For Paws and LA Fire Department rescued the injured pup from a canal. How was she reunited with her family? A microchip! Tinkerbell might not have returned home if her family didn't take this precautionary measure. She was treated for a broken leg and thanks to Hope For Paws, on the road to recovery.
