On Saturday, over a million people took to the streets in Seoul to protest against President Park Geun-hye for the fifth weekend running. Protesters called for the leader to step down after her alleged involvement in helping her friend gain access to confidential documents and exercise improper influence. “We cannot wait even one day [for her to quit],” protester Cho Mi-sun, a 51-year-old teacher, tells TIME. “She’s not normal and too dangerous to rule this country.” It was one of the largest demonstrations since the democratization of the country in 1987.
