Military veterans drafted into S.Africa poaching war

South Africa may not be a warzone -- but its national parks have become a battleground, with rangers pitted against poachers. Now, former servicemen from America, Australia, the UK, France and more are using their experience from Iraq and Afghanistan to help militarise local park rangers, in what they describe as a 'war' against poaching. But the effectiveness of the course, which lasts only two days and is packed with military acronyms that flummox many participants, could be called into question.
